  Calendar Notes
• Friday, February 6th is a noon dismissal due to teacher’s collaboration.
• Kindergarten screening is Saturday, February 7th.
• Jr. Choir will not sing on Sunday, February 8th due to “The Way’s” snow trip.
• There will be no school Feb. 16th-20th due to Presidents’ Day and Teacher’s Conference in Modesto.
  
  Classroom Notes
• The spelling list is Unit 20 for this week. The hymn for Friday is 415 st. 1-4.
• Girl’s Basketball practices Tuesday and plays at Stratford on Wednesday at 3:45.
• Boy’s Basketball practices on Tuesday and plays Stratford at Apostles on Thursday at 3:45.
• This Tuesday, grades 7 and 8 will be going to the UC-Santa Cruz Discovery Lab. Students will need to pack a lunch for the trip. We will be leaving school at 9:30 and returning around 2:00. Please have your child dress appropriately for the weather. It may be cool and wet. A note concerning the trip will be sent home today.
• Thank you for taking a moment to look at your child’s report card. Please let me know if you have any questions.
• There will be a blood drive on February 10th. If interested, sign up in the church entryway.
• Thanks to those who came out to California Pizza Kitchen last week. A good time was had by all.
• Spirit Week is Feb. 23rd-27th. Grades 7 & 8 will be combined for points and judging due to the smaller size of the 8th grade class this year.
