  Jer. 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
  What a great reminder this verse is for us. We have a loving God who cares for each of us, enough that he has our lives planned out for our benefit. This is a great comfort also for our graduates and a good passage to keep in front of them as they head off to different schools. Even though friends might be gone, their Lord is with them, making sure they succeed.
  
  
  Calendar Notes
• Today, May 27th is PE Day at Cahalan Park. We will be leaving school and walking over to the park at 11:30. Students should plan on bringing a sack lunch to eat at the park along with water and sunscreen.
• The Spring Piano Recital is May 30th at 7:00 pm.
• There will be a yearbook signing party on Tuesday, June 3rd, from 3:15-4:30 in the fellowship hall. Cost is $3.00 for 2 slices of pizza and soda. If your child would like to attend, please send $3.00 in with your child by Friday.
• We will dismiss at noon next Thursday, June 5th. Graduation is at 7:00 in the sanctuary. Please have your graduate here by 6:43. Thank you.
  
  Classroom Notes
• The hymn for the week is 319 st. 1. The Spelling list is Unit 34.
• Next year’s possible hot lunch provider, “Uncle Ray’s” will be handing out samples on Wednesday. I realize that this does not apply to most of you, but feel free to check them out if you are around after school.
• We will have one more Open House this Thursday. Feel free to encourage a friend to come and visit our school.
• Please return any graduation party permission slips by this Wednesday, along with the cost of $10.00 for each person attending.
